What you are today is the combined
effects or result(s)of the choice(s)you made in the time past. What you will be
tomorrow is determined by the choice(s) you are making now. Likewise, whether
you believe it or not, where you will spend eternity is your choice. The
choice, decision or indecision you make
after reading this tract will determine whether you will spend eternity in
heaven or hell.
John 3:16 " For God so loved the
world that he gave his only beggotten son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life". The "whosoever"
in this verse refers to your power to choose. The decision to accept or reject
Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and Saviour is yours alone. He told the
Israelites, " I set before you
today life and death", and in Joshua 24:15, the Israelites were giving the
right to choose who they will serve. The power to choose who to serve is within
you to exercise because God created you in His image( Gen.1 26-28) and He
released upon you the power to choose. Beloved, while Satan tells you only the
pleasure derivable from your choice, God tells you the pleasure and consequence
of your choice. Salvation is by choice. " Behold, I stand at the door and
knock. If any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and
will sup with him and he with me"(Rev 3:20) It is your choice to open your
heart for Him to come in. He will not force you. It is your choice to choose
between life and death, " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). It is
your choice whether to accept the truth of God's word or not. Romans 3:23
" For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". John 3:3,
" Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily I say unto thee, Except
a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." You can choose to
accept these truth or ignore them. But note that the choice you are making now
will determine where you will spend eternity. Hebrews 9:27" And as it is
appointed unto a man once to die, but after this the judgment" After your
eyes is close in death, there is no second chance to repent. You stop making
choice(s) when your eyes is close in death. You can only choose now that you
are alive, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life. Acts 4:12
" Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. I therefore persuade
you like God has always done, Romans 5:8" But God commandeth his love towards
us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" to accept
Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
